Greetings All,

Even since I first posted this url --
http://deathpenaltyusa.blogspot.com/ -- to CUADPUpdate this morning,
several items have been added, including a photo of the Colosseum in
Rome, all lit up to honor New Jersey's abolition of the death penalty
- sent by our bluejersey.com friend Jay who blew 100,000 frequent
flier miles to fly there at the last minute to capture the moment on
his own camera.

IF you go to http://deathpenaltyusa.blogspot.com/ you will find
photos and video clips that tell part of the story of the bill
signing from yesterday. There are also some links embedded in some
of the text. Check it out!

I want to thank everyone who has been sending congratulatory
messages. We especially thank the folks in California who sent the
case of champaign! Perhaps some of that will be left when we throw
our big party here in New Jersey, which will probably happen in
January or February. Details will be announced once they are set -
probably after the 1st of the year.

At this time I urge you to consider AND MAKE a contribution to YOUR
STATE ABOLITIONIST ORGANIZATION, and also to your favorite national
organizations. If you don't know your state group, send me an e-mail
and I'll be happy to pass along the info.

Make a year-end contribution to CUADP using a credit card or PAYPAL
at https://www.compar.com/donation/donateform.html

The other NATIONAL grassroots activist groups that are exclusively
abolitionist include:

ALSO - please make plans to join me in SAN JOSE in January for the
annual conference of the National Coalition to Abolish the Death
Penalty - see http://www.ncadp.org/events.cfm?event=1001

Thank you, and happy holidays to everyone!
